I was born in Ft. Worth, Texas to Mike and Carolyn Atkinson. We moved to Colorado right before I turned two. I went to the Summit County Christian School preschool through 8th grade. The beginning of my freshman year of high school my family went on sabbatical to Asheville, North Carolina. I thought that was the worst time in my life but I now look back and realize it was a great experience. We came back after 9 months and I finished my high school career at Summit High. I graduated in 2004 and attended the community college that fall. I met Jeremy, my amazing husband in 2002 and became great friends. After graduation we started dating and in my second semester of college he proposed. We were married that June and moved out to Georgia to plant a new church. We lived there for a year and a half learning so much about the church and ministry and who God has called us to be. The doors were closed to the church in September of 2006 and we have since then moved back to our dearly missed home in Breckenridge, CO. I have come on staff here at Agape as the Children’s Director and I am so excited about what God has planned for His children. God has used kids throughout history in mighty ways and He still will. I am so blessed to be apart of leading these little ones to the Creator of all!
I have a terrific and very cool younger brother by the name of Daniel. I adore him! I love the beach. My favorite color is pink. I love to snowboard even though I don’t do anything crazy. I have a love for missions and have traveled to Guatemala, Las Vegas, Ft. Worth, Australia, Honduras and Kenya. I can watch chick flicks for hours. I have a passion for worship dance. I love to watch kids worship. Music is one of my favorite things. I have a heart to minister to young girls. I don’t know what I would do without my Jeremy. He is my everything. I love kids and to watch them grow and learn new things. Above all, Christ is my reason for living. Without Him nothing is possible but with Him all things are possible!
